Postage Rates
The Moonlight Quill offers postage starting from $11 within Australia. For orders outside Australia please use the contact us section on or our site so we can calculate postage cost for you. We will always endeavour to get back to you as soon as possible
Despatch of Your Order
A ‘shipping’ email will be sent once your order has been despatched. It is too late to contact us with change of address details after you have received this email. If you have not received this email, your order is still being processed.
In Stock at The Moonlight Quill
Items that are in stock at will state that they are ‘in stock’. These items will be shipped within 1 to 3 business days. Occasionally stock runs out before the website is updated and you will be notified if you have been affected.
Items Not In Stock at The Moonlight Quill
Items that have a NOT in stock message on the product information page of the individual title will need to be ordered by The Moonlight Quill from the supplier.
Items that are in stock at major Australian Publishers and Distributors generally are received by us within 4 to 7 days. Items that are in stock at smaller Australian suppliers will deliver within 7 to 14 days. Items that are in stock at our USA suppliers take from 7 to 16 days to arrive. If items are not readily available then we will endeavour to contact you to discuss the time frame for these items. Whilst we endeavour to keep our inventory as up to date as possible, there may be the occasional item listed that has recently gone out of print or that the publisher has decided to withdraw from sale, or cancel (in the case of new releases). If you order one of these items you will be advised and a refund will be given. Items that are Not Yet Published will be ordered automatically and shipped upon receipt from the distributor.
Australia Post Deliveries
The majority of our parcels are sent by the standard Australia Post parcel delivery service.

Sydney Metro, Brisbane Metro, ACT, Adelaide – 2 to 5 business days
Hobart, Perth, NT Metro – 4 to 10 business days
NSW, QLD, VIC, SA and TAS Country – 5 to 10 business days
NT and WA Country – 8 to 15 business days
Refund and Returns
Your satisfaction is our first priority at The Moonlight Quill. If your item is faulty upon receipt or is not as described, we will gladly exchange the item or provide a refund. All returns are subject to us receiving the item back within 7 days of purchase. Items must be returned with their original packaging and, unless they were damaged prior to you receiving them, must still be in an unused and saleable condition.
