Welcome to The Moonlight Quill. In this the first of what I am hoping will be many book blog entries to this site I would like to extend my thanks to you for being here.
With so many fascinating stories out there both classic and modern I couldn’t help but join the ranks of those who have taken the plunge into bookselling. Though in these modern digitised times it may seem ludicrous to even contemplate the idea, it is one borne of my belief that there is still plenty of life in the printed word. A visit to your local independent bookshop is proof of this
I begin this adventure with a modest collection of pre-loved titles which I plan to add to and also extend the range to include new books sometime in the future. I invite you to browse and hope you find something within these gems that grabs your attention, always keeping in mind, that for us book lovers there are few things in life that bring as much joy, solace or satisfaction as losing yourself in the pages of a well written book; even when that same book can be the cause of a wide range of feelings in the space of a few pages and can practically leave you an emotional wreck for days after completing it.
